Of course I didn’t have any Modge Podge or decoupage glue for the Easy Halloween Candle Jars, so I had to make my own. This is the very simple instructions.

Easy Halloween Candle Jars

So, last minute (shocker), I decided I needed some kind of decoration for Halloween. I didn’t give myself enough time to get and carve a traditional jack-o-lantern, so I had to come up with an alternative. These ghost, monster and jack-o-lantern tea light holders are an easy quick project for kids and adults alike. As a kid safe alternative, you can use the little battery operated tea lights.

You will need:

Empty jars (I used baby food, olive, and pickle)

Modge Podge or decoupage glue*

White, orange, and or green tissue paper

Black permanent marker or craft paint
